How I can help
I can help by offering a steady, compassionate space where you don’t have to hold everything together on your own. Grief can feel messy, exhausting, or confusing, and you may not even have the words for what you’re feeling — that’s okay. Together, we’ll gently explore your emotions, your memories, and the impact this loss has had on your day‑to‑day life. I’ll support you to understand what you’re carrying, make room for what matters, and find small, practical ways to cope that feel manageable and kind. My role isn’t to rush you or “fix” your grief, but to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experience and begin to reconnect with moments of steadiness, meaning, and hope.

About me
I’m Kate, an Occupational Therapist and counsellor specialising in grief and loss. My approach is gentle, steady, and grounded in years of experience supporting people through bereavement, life transitions, and the many forms of loss that shape our lives. Alongside my clinical background in mental health, hospice work, and community practice, I also draw on lived experience caring for family members with learning disabilities, Autism, and dementia. I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can make sense of what’s changed, honour what matters, and find ways to move forward at your own pace. Whether you’re navigating a recent bereavement or the quieter, ongoing grief that comes with illness, caring, or change, my focus is on helping you feel understood, supported, and less alone.
