How I can help
* Hello, I am Jane, an experienced Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT). * I have extensive experience (12+ years) helping hundreds of people through CBT from working within the NHS mental health services. * I offer evidence-based CBT for individuals who would like support in understanding and managing their experiences in a safe confidential space. * My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental. Through therapy, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behavioural patterns connected to the problem, empowering you to create meaningful change in your life. * Together we can work toward: • Gaining a clearer understanding of the problem • Learning practical coping strategies • Reclaiming your life back from the problem • and improved emotional balance. * I am very experienced in working with many presentations of: anxiety, worry, stress, low self esteem, low mood, negative thinking, body image concerns, intrusive thoughts, compulsions, obsessive checking/counting/rituals, panic attacks, rumination, perfectionism, low assertiveness and trauma related symptoms such as nightmares, flashbacks, avoidance and fear. I can help people with: * Generalised Anxiety, * Panic Disorder, *Agoraphobia, *OCD (Obsessional Compulsive Disorder), *PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), * Emetophobia (Fear of being sick), * Specific Phobias (e.g., Fear of spiders, cats, dogs, heights, open spaces, lifts, blood, needles, loud noises, incontinence fears, etc.), * Social Anxiety, * Health Anxiety, * Death Anxiety, * Body Dysmorphia, * Body-Focused Repetitive Disorders (Skin Picking, Hair pulling etc.), * and Depression. * I work with adults 18+ and can offer EARLY MORNING and evening appointments, starting from as early as 6.30am, designed to work around your lifestyle. I offer a FREE initial no obligation 20-minute telephone consultation where we will explore how I may be able to help and answer any questions you may have.
