About me
Most of us encounter moments in our lives in which we need some support – perhaps you’ve experienced a significant change, a loss, or maybe you’ve realised that you’ve been feeling distressed or stuck for some time now. Therapy can help you to understand these feelings and find ways to move forwards.
Every person’s situation is unique, and therefore I believe in offering an integrative, individualised approach to therapy. I draw on principles and techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I understand the importance of a confidential and reliable space to discuss your situation, and the value of collaborative working to see the best results.
I believe in a humanistic and person centred approach that creates space for compassion, emotion, humour, and reflection, alongside practical strategies and a supportive environment to help you to find your path forwards.
I work with several insurers including Bupa, Cigna, WPA, Vitality and AVIVA.
