About me
I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with a 25-year experience of working with people with a variety of mental health problems in the NHS (South London and Maudsley NHS Trust), and also in private practice. I have extensive experience of working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
For more details about my qualifications and experience, and for testimonials of my clients please visit my website https://www.drkatjahajek.com/
I offer individual therapy and counselling as well as couple therapy, and I offer sessions in person and also online via zoom.
In my private practice, I mainly see people who experience problems with relationships, marriage break up, loneliness, work stress, low self esteem and other life problems. All these problems often resulting in experiencing anxiety and depression.
I am a good listener, I am accessible and I offer a supportive, confidential and non-judgemental environment in which we can explore your difficulties.
I provide both short and long-term therapy. My approach is based on interpersonal and psychodynamic therapy, and on positive psychology.
I am registered with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council), a body which governs psychologists and other care professions who are fully qualified and meet the criteria for safe practice.
