How I can help
Whilst Self Help is where most people start, it doesn’t always address what subtley stops us from making change in our lives. This is where therapy can help, life as we currently live it may be holding us back, but we cannot see where the blocks are. We are limited to what we can achieve on our own, Counselling and Psychotherapy places therapeutic relationship at the centre of change. To heal best we need interpersonal interventions , whilst tech can be really useful , most find it is not enough . My focus is attuning to you .

About me
I qualified as a Counsellor in 2001 – experience isn’t always the most important aspect of choosing who to work with but it does mean that I have been actively involved in many scenarios that bring clients to therapy . Most are looking to alleviate suffering at some level.
A long career in league level sport has also taught me alot about agency , staying centred, adapting to pressure and flow state.
The quality of relationship with the counsellor is one of the best predictors of outcomes in therapy , so this is important to you as a client and why an initial assessment session is a good way forward.
As well as being a therapist I remain actively involved in league sport, cycle daily and am involved in a mentoring role using drums and percussion as a connecting medium.
