About me

Hi, my name is Anette and I’m a Counselling Psychologist in private practice with years of experience working with a wide range of presenting difficulties. My areas of specialty include anxiety and stress, relationship difficulties (including difficult breakups and divorce), family dynamics and healing from traumatic or distressing experiences.

My “style” as a therapist is warm but active – I offer a safe, welcoming and confidential space while taking an active interest in you, your difficulties and aims for therapy. I work with clients both Online and in person, and offer a free 15-minute initial consultation via video call.

The way I work is integrative, meaning I’ll draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on my client’s needs and preferences. My training background includes Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).

I’m registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist, hold Chartered Membership with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and membership with the EMDR Association UK.
