How I can help

Have you spent months or even years trying to understand your difficulties, yet still find yourself feeling stuck? Perhaps you know where your anxiety, intrusive thoughts, grief, or emotional patterns come from, but despite your best efforts, something deeper remains unresolved. I specialise in helping people work through trauma, grief, anxiety, OCD, and nervous system dysregulation, including feeling trapped in states of fight, flight, freeze, overwhelm, or emotional numbness. My approach combines compassionate therapy with somatic techniques that work directly with the body and nervous system, helping to address the deeper roots of difficulties rather than simply managing symptoms. Therapy can be a powerful opportunity not only to find relief from what is troubling you, but to reconnect with a greater sense of calm, resilience, meaning, and joy in life.

About me

Have you spent months or years trying to understand your difficulties, yet still find yourself feeling stuck?

Perhaps you’ve talked about your experiences at length, read books, listened to podcasts, or even been to therapy before. You may know where your anxiety comes from, understand the roots of your patterns, or recognise why certain situations affect you so deeply. Yet despite this awareness, something still feels unresolved.

This is often because our difficulties are not held solely in our thoughts. Trauma, grief, anxiety, OCD, and chronic stress can become deeply embedded within the body and nervous system. We may find ourselves caught in patterns of fight, flight, freeze, overwhelm, hypervigilance, or emotional shutdown, even when part of us knows there is no immediate danger.

My work focuses on helping people gently access and heal these deeper layers.

As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual. Alongside thoughtful conversation and emotional exploration, I place particular emphasis on somatic methods that help us work directly with the body’s natural healing processes. Often this allows us to reach aspects of experience that can be difficult to access through talking alone.

I work with people experiencing trauma, grief, anxiety, OCD, and a general sense of feeling stuck in life. Whether your difficulties stem from a specific event, a painful loss, childhood experiences, relationship challenges, or simply a feeling that life has become disconnected from who you truly are, therapy can provide a space for healing, understanding, and meaningful change.

I believe our struggles are not signs that something is wrong with us. More often, they are intelligent responses to difficult experiences that have not yet received the attention, care, and healing they need. When approached with curiosity and compassion, even our most painful challenges can become opportunities for growth, resilience, and deeper self-understanding.

My own experience of therapy has profoundly shaped the way I work. During difficult periods of my life, therapy was an invaluable source of support, healing, and transformation. It helped me reconnect with myself and move forward with greater clarity and purpose. Today, it is a privilege to support others on their own journeys.

Every person is unique, and there is no single approach that works for everyone. Together, we will find a way of working that feels safe, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs.

If you would like to know more or have a few questions, I offer a free introductory conversation where we can explore what is bringing you to therapy and whether we might be a good fit to work together.
