About me
I am a Chartered Clinical and Counselling Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with adults and couples in private practice.
My work is integrative, drawing on psychodynamic thinking alongside Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), compassion-focused approaches and other evidence-based models.
I am engaged and active in the room. I tend to think collaboratively, ask questions, make links, and offer ideas when they are useful. I value depth and reflection, but I also believe therapy should lead to meaningful and practical change. Alongside psychological understanding, I often work with emotions and bodily sensations, recognising them as valuable sources of information and pathways to change.
Much of my work centres on relationships—our relationships with partners, family, ourselves and the wider world. Alongside working with anxiety, depression, trauma and work-related stress, I have particular experience supporting people with relationship difficulties, fertility journeys, identity and life transitions, as well as LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse clients.
Over the past 10 years, I have also worked extensively with professionals in the corporate world, supporting people through the pressures and challenges of demanding careers.
