How I can help
Chartered Counselling Psychologist | Complex Trauma, Emotional Dysregulation & Rebuilding Self-Worth.
You may have spent years feeling overwhelmed by your emotions, trapped in painful relationship patterns, or carrying the effects of experiences that continue to shape your life today. Perhaps you struggle with intense self-criticism, fear of abandonment, people-pleasing, or feeling as though you’re never quite “good enough.” You may have learnt to survive rather than truly live. If this resonates, you are not alone—and meaningful, lasting change is possible. I specialise in working with adults experiencing complex and longstanding emotional difficulties, particularly trauma, complex trauma, borderline personality disorder (emotionally unstable personality disorder), chronic low self-worth, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties. Many of the people I work with have spent years feeling misunderstood or believing there is something fundamentally wrong with them. Rather than viewing symptoms in isolation, I seek to understand the experiences that have shaped them. Together, we make sense of the patterns that once helped you survive but may now be keeping you stuck, before working towards long-term change through re-skilling, developing healthier tools for living, and building more compassionate and sustainable ways of coping, relating and responding to life’s challenges. At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all experience. Every individual brings a unique story, and my integrative, compassion-focused approach allows therapy to be tailored to your specific needs, strengths and goals. I draw upon a range of evidence-based psychological therapies, including EMDR, Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and DBT-informed approaches, ensuring treatment is guided by what will be most effective for you rather than a single therapeutic model. Above all, I aim to provide a therapeutic relationship where you feel genuinely understood, accepted and safe enough to explore even the most difficult parts of your experience. Therapy can be challenging, but it should never feel like something you face alone. Whether you are processing trauma, navigating intense emotions, rebuilding your sense of self, or seeking to break longstanding patterns, I will work collaboratively with you to help you develop greater resilience, self-understanding and lasting change

About me
I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist based in Central London with over 10 years’ experience across the NHS, private practice and the charitable sector.
Alongside my clinical career, I have had the privilege of contributing to the training of future psychologists through guest lecturing on Doctoral Clinical Psychology programmes and participating in the recruitment of trainee psychologists. These experiences reflect my commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice and ensuring my work remains informed by current research, emerging evidence and best practice. Today, my focus is dedicated to providing high-quality psychological therapy within my private practice, where I bring together this breadth of experience to support lasting and meaningful change.
In addition to individual therapy, I also offer clinical supervision and psychological consultation for healthcare professionals.
If you are considering therapy and would like to explore whether we may be a good fit, I warmly welcome you to get in touch.
