Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Registered Member of the BACP (MBACP) and hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I have undertaken additional training in perinatal mental health and have a particular interest in supporting parents of children with additional or complex needs. My additional training includes neurodivergent birth, baby loss and bereavement, trauma, family dynamics and antenatal and postnatal mental health, alongside trauma informed practice and walk and talk counselling.
I work in an integrative way, drawing on person centred, gestalt and transactional analysis approaches. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. Rather than offering advice or telling you what you should do, I work alongside you to understand your experiences, gently challenge unhelpful patterns where appropriate and support you in creating lasting change that feels right for you.

About me
You may have spent so long looking after everyone else that you’ve stopped checking in with yourself. You might be feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or carrying the mental load of family life. Perhaps you’re snapping more than you’d like, doubting yourself or feeling guilty, disconnected or like you’re getting parenting wrong.
I work with parents navigating pregnancy, early parenthood, parenting a child with additional needs or the ongoing demands of family life. Counselling offers a space that’s just for you. Rather than telling you what to do, I’ll work alongside you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences, helping you better understand yourself and reconnect with what matters most.
Many clients leave counselling feeling calmer, more confident and better able to manage life’s challenges. They often find they’re able to respond rather than react, communicate more openly and approach parenting with greater self compassion.
I offer online, in person and walk and talk counselling in and around Brackley, Northamptonshire. I also offer a free 15 minute introductory call so you can ask questions and see whether I’m the right counsellor for you. I am currently welcoming enquiries for appointments from September, contact me now to book in your call.
