About me
I am a UKCP-accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with experience working within NHS Talking Therapies as both a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and Counselling for Depression (CfD) counsellor. I offer online and telephone counselling sessions across the UK.
This experience has given me the opportunity to work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, stress and a range of emotional difficulties, while developing a strong understanding of both structured psychological interventions and relational therapeutic work. I have also worked in the charity sector as a bereavement counsellor.
I work in an integrative way, meaning I am trained in, and use, a combination of therapeutic approaches to best meet your needs.
Most importantly, I believe that the experience of relationship is at the heart of therapy. When you feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted, meaningful change becomes possible.
Together we’ll make sense of your experiences, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work towards meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
If you’re considering counselling but aren’t sure whether it’s right for you, I’m happy to answer any questions. I also offer a free 15-minute introductory telephone call, giving us an opportunity to briefly talk before you decide whether you’d like to take things further.
