How I can help
I offer a calm, grounded and authentic human space where you can slow down and begin to make sense of what is happening beneath the surface. I support clients to feel that they can arrive exactly as they are – without having to have the right words, understand everything they are feeling, or already know what they want to change. I see therapy as a relationship between two people. I don’t believe in judging, fixing or telling you how you should live your life. Instead, I will provide a space for curiosity, honesty, warmth and openness together. I will listen carefully, ask questions, sometimes gently challenge you, and help you explore the parts of your experience that may be difficult to understand or put into words. I am particularly interested in what sits beneath the presenting issue. Sometimes anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties or low self-esteem are telling us something about how we are living, what we need, what we fear, or what may no longer fit. I want to understand your experience of your life, rather than simply putting a label around it.

About me
Working with me will be an opportunity to start wherever you are. My practice is particularly informed by existential psychotherapy, which speaks strongly to the way I understand people and the therapeutic process. I am interested in the deeper questions that can emerge throughout our lives: Who am I? What matters to me? What gives my life meaning? What do I really want? How do I make choices? How do I live with uncertainty, change, freedom, loss and mortality?
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, loss, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, isolation, anger, shame, identity questions, crises of meaning and challenges around masculinity. I also enjoy working creatively with people whose inner worlds are expressed through images, metaphors, intuition and symbolism – particularly when their experience doesn’t always fit neatly into words.
For me, therapy is about creating the space to become more curious about yourself – to understand your patterns and to recognise and explore what may be holding you back.
