About the therapist finder
The Therapist Finder was founded by Luisa Kos, a psychotherapist with a previous career in web design and user experience. After years of seeing how difficult it can be for people to find the right therapist—and how frustrating directory platforms can be for therapists themselves—she decided to build something better. The platform brings together her clinical experience and technical background to create a directory that’s intuitive, human-centred, and genuinely useful. The result is a faster, clearer and more personalised way to connect people with the support they need.

Laura Farley
I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where clients can explore present challenges and understand themselves more clearly. My work is client-led and integrative, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to suit each person’s needs, sometimes including breathing, meditation and visualisation to support the mind–body connection. I have particular experience working with childhood and adolescent trauma, the psychological impact of physical health conditions, psychosexual difficulties, perinatal mental health, and relationship issues, including couples work. My aim is to offer a thoughtful therapeutic relationship that supports deeper understanding and meaningful, lasting change.
Anita Rhodes
I work mainly with professionals who feel overwhelmed by anxiety and pressure at work. Many of my clients arrive feeling exhausted, constantly overthinking, and worried they are about to burn out. Through therapy we focus on understanding the patterns that drive this pressure and developing ways to feel calmer, more confident, and able to set healthier boundaries
Julie Proudley
I have an MA Counseling Psychology and over 20 years managerial and therapeutic support experience within mental health services before starting full-time private practice in 2021. I am able to support holistically with a range of approaches, working at behavioural, mental, emotional and spiritual/energetic levels as appropriate, so it can be tailored to your needs to support you to create the change in your life you would like. The work is collaborative and I create a safe space where anything can be discussed and a space where self understanding, love and acceptance are part of the healing process. More recent trainings include Internal Family Systems, somatic processing, polyvagal theory and trauma-related counselling.
Tuesday Anne Benfield
I am a qualified counsellor specialising in ADHD (diagnosed or undiagnosed), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and trauma. I work with people who feel overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem or patterns in relationships that are difficult to change. My approach is supportive, practical and grounded in experience, helping clients better understand themselves, challenge unhelpful beliefs and develop healthier ways of coping. I have particular experience supporting people with OCD, including intrusive thoughts and relationship OCD, as well as those who have experienced trauma such as childhood difficulties, loss, abandonment and abuse. My aim is to provide a safe and steady space where clients can process their experiences and regain a sense of control and confidence in their lives.
Pedro Garcia
I am a BACP-registered counsellor offering therapy in English and Spanish, both online and in person from rooms in **London Bridge (SE1) and Greenwich (SE10)**. I provide **trauma-informed, diversity-affirming counselling** for adults and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, ADHD, low self-esteem, and questions around identity, relationships, and life direction. My work is based on the idea that when we begin to understand our story, what shaped us and why certain patterns repeat, we can start to relate to ourselves with greater clarity and compassion. I offer a thoughtful, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace and find steadier ways of coping and moving forward.
Mark Mahoney
I am a BACP registered counsellor specialising in anxiety, overthinking and anger. I work with people who may appear to be coping on the surface but who are privately struggling with constant worry, irritability, poor sleep or a persistent sense of unease. I offer a calm and non-judgemental space where we can think together about what may be driving these feelings and how they affect your day-to-day life. My approach is **integrative**, drawing on person-centred and psychodynamic therapies, which allows the work to be shaped around your needs and pace. Sessions are collaborative and focused on helping you better understand yourself while also finding ways to ease the pressures you may be carrying. I offer 50-minute weekly sessions in Peckham or Bromley, both in person and online, and a free 20-minute introductory call so you can ask questions and see whether working together feels right.
