I am a qualified Integrative therapist MBAPC (Registered with the British Association for Psychotherapy and Counselling Association) with a person-centred approach, which means I tailor my style of therapy to suit your unique needs and experiences, seeing you as the expert of your life’s journey, together we’ll explore what’s important to you. I meet you where you are, working at your pace.
Seeking therapy, no matter if it is your first time or your return to therapy can be a significant and uncertain step, and I want to reassure you that it’s perfectly okay to reach out for support. I’m here to provide a safe, supportive, genuine and non-judgmental space where you can reflect on your inner thoughts and feelings.
With over 15 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting young people, and adults through a variety of complex challenges, such as the impact of youth-youth violence, the criminal justice system, and mental health needs, helping others from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, and sexual orientations to access mental health and wellbeing services.
Our sessions can also be creative—using visuals, drawings, or psychoeducation (tools to help you understand and process your experiences). These methods can open new ways of exploring what’s happening for you.
I offer a free 15-20min telephone consultation where it will give us the opportunity to see if we’re the right fit for each other. It’s important that you feel comfortable with me as your therapist, and that I have the right skills to support you. We’ll also discuss your expectations for therapy, and any questions or concerns you may have with no obligation to continue if it doesn’t feel right. If it does, you can then book ongoing sessions if you would like to.
