About me

Symptoms in the mind and body are rarely separate, for example, anxiety can show up as a pain our neck or shoulders. By acknowledging both, we can work towards a sense of balance that feels a bit more “joined up” and sustainable.
My way of working is collaborative; you’re the expert in your own body and emotions. My goal is to help you feel a bit more steady, capable, and comfortable in your own skin.
My main modality is Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy, (REBT), a highly practical and evidence-based framework. Rather than just exploring past events, REBT focuses on the logic of our current thinking patterns and how they directly influence our emotional and physical distress. By integrating this with other psychological tools, I provide a structured way to identify and challenge the unhelpful beliefs that keep us feeling stuck. It is a proactive way of working that prioritises clarity and long-term resilience over complicated jargon.
I have a chronic pain condition, and this has taught me that when the body feels pain, the mind follows and vice versa – you cannot treat one while ignoring the other.
Because of my own journey, I bring a high level of patience and realism to my sessions. I know what it’s like to negotiate with your own energy levels every morning. My goal is to use my professional and personal experience to help you navigate your own challenges, whether they are emotional, physical, or a complex mix of both, with a balance of compassion and technical insight.
