About me
I have experience in helping adults with many difficult aspects of life these include: anxiety, bereavement and loss, depression, relationships, stress and many other challenging issues.
It is common when reaching out for professional help that you may feel like it’s weakness or you are failing and with the stigma around asking for help this often means we feel we should be able to manage on our own so as not to show vulnerability. I believe it is brave to ask for help and a positive step towards healing.
Everyone is unique so I bring a flexible approach to our sessions, whether that is on a short or long term basis. I welcome diversity and have a extensive experience in working with ADHD, ASD, dyslexia and the other neurodiversities its effects on life.
I trained at the Minster Centre I have an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and I am an accredited member of the UKCP, I also have a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and registered with the BACP. I am aligned with Column C of the SCoPEd framework, which represents the most comprehensive level of training in the UK. For you, this simply means I’m experienced in working with deeper, more complex issues and have the background to hold a safe, steady space for whatever you bring.
As a registered member of the UKCP and BACP I comply with their ethical framework. I am fully insured and have a current DBS in compliance with the BACP guidelines. All personal data is stored confidentially and safely.
