How I can help
I practise psychodynamic psychotherapy, exploring patterns in thoughts, feelings and relationships, and the unconscious processes that underpin them, supporting deeper self-awareness, insight and meaningful change. I am a fully qualified psychotherapist holding a masters degree in psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy from Goldsmiths University of London. I am also a registered member of the BACP, meaning that I am part of an accredited body and adhere to their ethical codes of conduct and commitments to good practice. I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy, aiming to help you gain insight into your moods and behavioural patterns by exploring the impact of unconscious psychological elements. I offer both open-ended and time-limited treatment. This can be discussed and agreed upon during the initial consultation or at any point during treatment. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place once or twice weekly. Sessions are charged at £90 and will be invoiced at the end of every month. You may be unsure as to what kind of therapist or therapy you will feel most comfortable with and so to help with this I only charge for the initial meeting if we agree to work together. I primarily work face to face, from a quiet location on a leafy road in Camberwell, South London, with good transport links and free on street parking (except between 11am and 1pm). I am available on Wednesdays during the daytime and I also practice at The Couch in Peckham on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday afternoons and evenings. If you are too far away or are unable to attend in person for another reason, I am also available online.

Ahead of this, I met with Len Duvall to discuss my research and experience working with men’s groups. I also met with the Mayor to discuss the systemic and cultural factors driving the men’s mental health crisis, including the disproportionately high rates of suicide among men.
About me
Often past experiences, unconscious thoughts and conflicting inner forces can affect our mental well-being in a negative way, causing symptoms such as stress, anxiety, detachment or depression.
Through exploring patterns of thought, feelings and relationships, we can understand and resolve these issues leading to greater self-awareness, personal growth and change.
Together we will speak freely about whatever comes to mind and through the discussion of memories, fantasies and dreams we will aim to address defences and remove blockages that may have developed over time and are hindering your ability to connect with others, to feel whole and to lead a fulfilling life.
