How I can help

People often come to therapy when they’ve reached a point where simply “pushing through” is no longer working. This might show up as ongoing relationship difficulties, a loss of connection with self or others, challenges with self-image or identity, or repeating patterns that don’t seem to shift. In our work together, we explore what sits beneath recurring patterns while also developing practical tools to manage life more effectively, relate differently, and make changes that feel meaningful and lasting.

About me

You may have reached a point where, from the outside, your life appears to be functioning well, yet inwardly something feels strained, unsettled, or difficult to make sense of.

Perhaps you find yourself repeating the same painful patterns in relationships, feeling disconnected from yourself, struggling with self-image, or carrying the impact of past experiences into the present. You may be used to coping, reflecting, and holding things together, yet still feel that something deeper remains unresolved.

I work with individuals and couples who want more than surface-level coping. Many of the clients who come to me are thoughtful, self-aware, and emotionally capable, but feel stuck in patterns of self-doubt, overwhelm, distance, or relational pain that do not shift through insight alone. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and begin moving differently through your life and relationships.

My approach is integrative, with a strong grounding in psychodynamic therapy. This means I pay close attention not only to what is happening now, but also to the underlying emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and earlier experiences that may be shaping your present difficulties. I also draw from Humanistic therapy, Internal Family Systems and cognitive approaches, so that our work can be responsive to who you are rather than confined to one model.

I have a particular interest in relationship dynamics, self-image, identity, trauma, and couples therapy. I work with people who may feel caught in recurring relational patterns, emotional disconnection, shame, perfectionism, or the lasting effects of painful or traumatic experiences. I also support clients in exploring how culture, family messages, gendered expectations, or early attachment experiences have influenced how they see themselves and relate to others.

In my work with couples, I support partners who may feel stuck in recurring conflict, emotional distance, breakdowns in communication, or a loss of trust and connection. Often, what a couple is struggling with in the present is shaped by deeper emotional histories and protective patterns that neither partner fully understands on their own. Our work together focuses on helping you make sense of these dynamics, communicate more openly, and build greater emotional safety within the relationship.

Alongside ongoing therapy, I also offer one-off sessions for those who would like a focused space to think through a particular difficulty, try therapy for the first time, or receive support during a challenging period. These sessions are reflective and contained, though they are not a crisis service.

Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful and honest. I aim to offer a therapeutic relationship that feels emotionally attuned, grounded and purposeful, where you can bring complexity without needing to simplify yourself in order to be understood.

If you are considering therapy, you are welcome to book a free 30-minute Zoom consultation through my website. This gives us a chance to think about what brings you to therapy and whether I may be the right fit for you.
