About me

Many high-performing professionals reach a point where what once worked no longer holds in the same way. They remain capable and effective, yet something more fundamental feels unsettled, in how they relate to themselves, to others, or to the direction of their lives. Insight alone has not been enough to create change.
This is the territory I work in.
My approach is depth-oriented and integrative, drawing on relational, cognitive-behavioural, somatic, and existential frameworks. Rather than focusing on strategies or symptom management, the work attends to the underlying patterns that organise how a person thinks, feels, and relates, patterns that often develop early, as intelligent adaptations to the environments in which we grew up.
As these patterns become clearer, change tends to emerge not through effort alone, but through a shift in how experience is understood and felt.
As a British Chinese clinician with experience of living and working across different countries and cultures, I am also attuned to themes of racial identity, cultural expectation, and belonging, including the particular pressures that can arise within bicultural families or high-achieving immigrant contexts.
I offer individual therapy on an ongoing basis, extended focused consultations, and structured leadership and executive work. Sessions are held online via secure video. I am registered with a number of insurers including Allianz, Aviva, Bupa Global, Cigna, Healix, Vitality, and WPA.
If something here resonates, I welcome an initial consultation to explore whether working together feels like the right fit.

Summary of Experience

I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with over 14 years of clinical experience across the NHS and private practice. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (CPsychol). I work primarily with high-performing professionals — across finance, law, technology, and the creative industries — who are navigating significant internal pressure beneath outward success. Common areas of work include burnout, perfectionism, anxiety, identity, and relationship patterns, as well as questions of meaning and direction at points of transition. Before retraining as a psychologist, I worked in investment banking and the creative industries. This background informs my understanding of high-pressure professional environments, and the particular ways in which difficulty can go unacknowledged within them. I work online, seeing clients across London and internationally.
