How I can help
I specialise in working with high-performing professionals across finance, law, technology, and the creative industries who are navigating burnout, perfectionism, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and questions of identity, meaning, and direction. I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with over 14 years of clinical experience across the NHS and private practice, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (CPsychol).
Before retraining as a psychologist, I worked in investment banking and the creative industries. This background informs my understanding of high-pressure professional environments and the particular ways in which stress, self-criticism, and emotional difficulties can remain hidden beneath outward success.
I work primarily online with clients across London, the UK, and internationally, with limited in-person appointments available in central London.

About me
Many high-performing professionals reach a point where the strategies that once served them well begin to lose their effectiveness. They remain capable, responsible, and outwardly successful, yet find themselves struggling with burnout, recurring relationship difficulties, a persistent sense of pressure, or the feeling that life has become increasingly disconnected from what matters to them. Insight is often present already. The challenge is that understanding a pattern and being able to live differently are not always the same thing.
My approach is depth-oriented and integrative, drawing on relational, cognitive-behavioural, somatic, and existential perspectives. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or coping strategies, we pay attention to the deeper patterns that shape how you relate to yourself, to other people, and to the wider demands of your life. Many of these patterns developed for understandable reasons and were once highly effective adaptations. Difficulties often emerge when they become too rigid, automatic, or costly to sustain.
Before training as a psychologist, I worked in investment banking and the creative industries. This continues to inform my understanding of high-pressure professional environments and the particular ways that struggle can remain hidden beneath competence, achievement, and responsibility.
As a British Chinese clinician who has lived and worked across different countries and cultures, I am also attentive to questions of identity, belonging, expectation, and adaptation. This includes the complexities of bicultural experience, family obligation, migration, and the pressures that can accompany achievement within high-performing or immigrant families.
I offer individual therapy, focused consultations, psychological intensives, and leadership and executive coaching. Sessions are held primarily online via secure video, with limited in-person appointments available in central London. I am registered with a number of insurers, including Allianz, Bupa International, Cigna, Healix, Vitality, and WPA.
If something in this approach resonates, I welcome an initial consultation to explore whether working together might be a good fit.
