About me

I work with adults of all ages, experiencing a range of challenges from anxiety, depression and low self-esteem, to relationship and family difficulties. I have a special interest in supporting clients to understand the impact of childhood on your life today.

The quality of our relationship is really important. I aim to create the conditions for us to have an emotionally safe and deeply exploratory journey together. I actively guide you in this journey – I don’t just sit back and listen. And if we feel it is not the right fit between us, I can support you to find another therapist.

What we cover is up to you. There might be a specific issue, crisis or trauma, a general sense of feeling ‘stuck’, or a need for new insights and change.

As an integrative therapist, I combine different theories and models to suit you. These are typically person-centred counselling, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My practice is also influenced by existential and psychodynamic theory. If appropriate, we can bring coaching into our work, to explore how you would like your future to look, and map out a route forward.
