Verification
When you register, please include your professional body and registration or membership number where possible.
If we cannot verify your registration publicly, we may ask you to send proof of registration before your profile can go live.
Your profile will not be published until it has been reviewed and approved.
What you will need to create your profile
1. A profile photo
You will need to upload a clear, professional photo of yourself.
This helps clients get a sense of who you are before they get in touch. Profiles with photos also tend to feel more personal and trustworthy.
2. Your professional registration details
Please include:
- your professional body or bodies
- your registration or membership number, where applicable
- any relevant qualifications
3. Your therapy address or location
You will need to add an address or location to your profile, even if you only work online.
This is because clients often search by location, and it helps your profile appear in relevant search results.
If you work online only, you do not need to add your full home or practice address. You can use a general location instead, for example:
- London
- South London
- Manchester
- Brighton
Please only add a specific address if you are happy for it to appear publicly on your profile.
4. Information about how you work
You will be asked to include details such as:
- who you work with, for example individuals, couples, families, children or groups
- whether you offer in-person therapy, online therapy, or both
- your areas of experience
- your therapeutic approach
- your fees
- your availability, if you wish to include it
Try to write in clear, accessible language. Most clients are looking for someone they can understand and connect with, rather than a highly technical description.
After you register
Once you submit your profile, we will review it before publishing.
If everything is clear and we can verify your registration, your profile will be approved.
If we need more information, we will contact you by email.
You will also be able to log in and update your profile after it has been created.
Free introductory membership
