How I can help
Couples often come to therapy when they feel stuck in the same arguments, emotionally distant, unsure how to reconnect, or when trust has been damaged. Sometimes there has been infidelity, a loss of intimacy, a major life change, or simply a growing sense that something between you no longer feels as it once did. I can help you slow things down and understand what is happening underneath the conflict. Together, we can look at the patterns you each get pulled into, what they may be protecting, and what can make it difficult to feel heard, wanted or close. My role is not to take sides or decide who is right. It is to help you both make sense of the relationship more clearly, including the parts that can be difficult to talk about, and create more room for honesty, connection and change.

About me
I’m interested in what sits underneath the surface of relationships. The arguments that keep repeating, the distance that is hard to explain, and the parts of ourselves that can feel very present in one relationship and hidden in another.
I work with couples and individuals in a warm, thoughtful and down to earth way. Rather than only focusing on the immediate problem, I help people understand the patterns, experiences and expectations that may be shaping what is happening now.
I’m particularly interested in intimacy, trust, identity and difference, and in how earlier experiences can influence the way we love, protect ourselves and respond to the people closest to us. As a mixed heritage man, I’m also attentive to how race, culture and identity can shape relationships and the therapy itself.
I want therapy to be a place where you can speak openly, feel understood, and get underneath what is happening so that change feels possible rather than just talked about.
