About me
My name is Dr Anette Magnus, and I am an HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting people through emotional and psychological difficulties.
While I work with a wide range of presenting issues, my areas of specialty include anxiety and stress, trauma, relationship and family issues, relationship endings (including breakups and divorce), affairs and betrayals.
My style as a therapist is warm but active. I see therapy as a collaborative process and take an active interest in understanding you, what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together.
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on different therapeutic approaches to tailor therapy to your individual needs, aims and preferences. My professional training includes person-centred therapy, psychodynamic therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), alongside professional training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
I offer therapy online and in person from my welcoming therapy room in King’s Cross, Central London, and offer a free 15-minute initial consultation via video call.
