How I can help
People come to therapy with all kinds of difficulties — anxiety, depression, addictions, the effects of trauma, struggles in relationships, questions of sexuality and desire. Sometimes the trouble is harder to name: a pattern that keeps returning, a sense of being stuck, a feeling that doesn’t quite fit the words available. My work begins with a particular form of listening, one that invites you to speak freely about what is on your mind, including what may not have found expression elsewhere. From this attentive, non-judgemental space, we will begin exploring what is at the root of your difficulties and the relationships and histories that have shaped them. What the work makes possible includes the creation of personal strategies and solutions, the pursuit of new desires and ideas, and a different way of relating to oneself and others.

About me
I offer psychotherapy from my consulting room in E1 (Liverpool Street / Aldgate East), and remotely where appropriate. My work is situated in the psychoanalytic field and oriented by the teaching of Jacques Lacan. Rather than offering quick fixes or predefined interventions, psychoanalytic psychotherapy resists standardisation, taking seriously the role of the unconscious and the singularity of each person’s experience.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked across a range of clinical and institutional settings: with people experiencing psychosis at the Psychosis Therapy Project, those affected by racial trauma at the USEMI Clinic, people struggling with thoughts of suicide at The Listening Place, and students at City and Guilds London Art School.
I continue my formation at CFAR London and am a registered UKCP Trainee Psychotherapist; my practice is bound by the Codes of Ethics of both.
