How I can help

Integrative psychotherapist in Chepstow and online, specialising in trauma, EMDR, anxiety and relationships. I work with adults, young people, couples and families who want to understand what is holding them back and find a way through it. I am a Senior Accredited member of the BACP and a specialist in EMDR, an evidence-based treatment for trauma. I also offer Single Session Therapy and the Rewind Technique for people who want focused help without a long-term commitment. I draw on different approaches, including CBT, psychodynamic and person-centred work, and shape the therapy around you. I know how daunting a first session can feel. You will find a warm, open and non-judgemental space, and I will work alongside you at your own pace.

About me

I have trained in counselling and psychotherapy for thirteen years and have recently submitted my doctoral thesis in counselling and psychotherapy. Alongside private practice, I work part-time in secondary education, where I set up one of the first counselling provisions for children in a school setting in Wales.

I am often quoted on mental health and relationships in the national press, including The Times, The Guardian, The Independent and the Daily Telegraph, and I have appeared on Channel 5 news. I write regularly for BACP Therapy Today and contributed to the BACP’s Outside View campaign encouraging men to seek therapy.

I see clients face to face at The Wellbeing Centre in Chepstow, and online and by phone across the UK. Individual sessions are £100, couples sessions £130 and family sessions £150. Evening appointments are available. I am also registered with Aviva, Axa Health, Vitality and WPA.
