How I can help

I work with young people (0-25yo) experiencing emotional difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, depression, concentration issues, and low self-esteem. Younger children may express their distress through separation/feeding/sleep difficulties, or outbursts. I work with parents who often feel overwhelmed and seek to understand what is happening. Couples come for many reasons including difficulty in intimacy, trust and communication. I help young people to make sense of their thoughts and feelings by carefully observing and reflecting on what is communicated. I support parents in understanding their child’s emotional world and behaviour, helping them feel more attuned and equipped in their caregiving role. I support partners to better understand themselves and their relationship. My approach is respectful of the young person, parents’ or couple’s pace. It might be hard to speak at the beginning or feel uncomfortable to meet with a new person, and things can take time. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space to allow us to start being reflective and curious. Contact me if you have questions, to arrange a brief initial free of charge call or to arrange a consultation.
