How I can help
I help parents reclaim a life that feels meaningful after birth trauma, baby loss, and the emotional challenges that can come with becoming a parent. Whether you are navigating flashbacks, perinatal anxiety, postnatal depression, OCD, or the huge shift in identity that motherhood brings, I offer therapy that actually works. EMDR, CBT, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy, grounded in compassion and common sense. No jargon. Just a warm, steady space to figure things out at a pace that feels manageable. I offer a free 15-minute call so we can talk before you commit to anything.

About me
I’m Hannah, a BABCP-accredited psychotherapist in Bristol. I specialise in maternal mental health, including birth trauma, baby loss, perinatal depression, anxiety, OCD, and the identity shift that comes with becoming a mother. This is not a side interest. It is what I do every day.
I work part time in an NHS Maternal Mental Health Service, supporting women across the full range of perinatal mental health difficulties. The other half of my week is spent in private practice in central Bristol and online across the UK. Between both roles, I spend my whole working life alongside people who are trying to find their feet again after experiences that knocked them sideways.
I am trained in EMDR, CBT, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Prolonged Grief Disorder Therapy. All of them are recommended by NICE for trauma, depression, and anxiety. But what matters most is that they actually help. My clients tell me they start to feel like themselves again. The fog lifts. The weight shifts.
You do not need to have everything figured out before we speak. That is what the free call is for.
