How I can help

I offer trauma-informed psychotherapy and ecotherapy for anxiety, overwhelm and complex PTSD. Sessions are online and outdoors in Highgate and High Barnet. If you’re struggling under the weight of everything you’re trying to hold, you’ve come to the right place. I support those who are anxious, exhausted and overwhelmed: folk who need things to change, but don’t know where to start. I work with both mind and body to help you process overwhelming feelings, and work through thought-patterns and behaviours that no longer serve you. As an ecotherapist, I work with nature, the land and the seasons to help you find the ground under your feet and bring yourself back into balance. I could be the right therapist for you if you recognise yourself in one or more of these: – A people-pleaser who struggles to say no and establish healthy boundaries. – Difficulty connecting with and expressing your anger. – Easily flooded or overwhelmed by your own and others’ emotional states. – Seeking help recovering from a controlling or abusive relationship. – Late-identified ADHD / autistic / AuDHD and trying to process what this means for your identity and your life. – Feeling frozen or collapsed in response to the climate and ecological crisis facing our world.

About me

I’m a highly-qualified psychotherapist (Masters’ level) and ecotherapist, specialising in complex trauma, anxiety and overwhelm, and late-discovered neurodivergence. I’ve been working with clients since 2015 and I’m a registered member of the BACP.

I work online and on the phone, and also outdoors. Outdoor sessions take place in Queens Wood, close to Highgate tube station in North London, and in the green spaces around High Barnet.

I work in a trauma-informed way, building a relationship of trust and safety, before carefully working with the imprint of your past in your body and in your stories about yourself. I help you grow awareness of your thoughts and feelings and gain insight into stuck patterns. We will carefully expand your capacity to be with challenging emotions and to respond to your life with more flexibility. This involves talking and exploration, as well as working with the body and the nervous system.

Over time, the work we do together empowers you to live with more autonomy and clarity, and reconnects you with yourself, in meaningful relationships with others, and with your place in the wider, more-than-human world.

I have a special interest in helping late-identified neurodivergent clients (autistic, ADHD, AuDHD) to process this discovery and build a better life. You may have struggled for years with anxiety, depression and overwhelm without knowing why. I’ll help you get to know your mind, sensory needs and nervous system. I’ll also help you with trauma and with recovery from difficult childhood experiences.

If you think I could be a good fit, the first step is to schedule a free call, so you can find out more. If this feels good, we’ll have an initial session online, where you can see what therapy with me is like and we can discuss your needs in depth, including if you want to have therapy outdoors.
