How I can help
I’m an NHS award-winning, BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting children, young people, adults, and families. People usually come to me when they’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. This might be anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, or difficulties linked to neurodiversity such as ADHD or autism. I use a range of evidence-based approaches including CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centred therapy. In simple terms, that means I tailor the work to you, rather than expecting you to fit into a fixed model. I’m known for building strong, trusting relationships quickly, whether I’m working with a child, a teenager, or an adult. Clients often say they feel understood early on, which helps us get to meaningful change faster. I also have a strong track record of positive outcomes, with consistent feedback and testimonials reflecting the impact of the work. See below: https://www.priormindset.com/testimonals/patient-and-nhs-service-testimonial-1 Alongside therapy, I support parents with behaviour, school refusal, and navigating systems like EHCPs, and I work with organisations to better support neurodiverse individuals.

About me
My Experience
I’ve worked across the NHS, education, social care, and specialist services, which means I understand how mental health shows up in real life, not just in theory.
My clinical work includes roles in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), adult mental health teams, and specialist CBT services. I currently provide adaptive CBT for neurodiverse professionals within a national service.
I’ve also worked as a Safeguarding Lead in education, supporting vulnerable young people and advocating for those with additional needs.
A significant part of my experience includes working with the NSPCC, where I provided safeguarding guidance to professionals and members of the public. This role involved supporting complex and high-risk situations, often when people didn’t know where else to turn.
In addition, I have worked within domestic abuse services supporting women and families, as well as within drug and alcohol services, giving me a strong understanding of substance misuse and its impact on mental health and relationships.
Earlier in my career, I worked in residential care, pupil referral units, and children’s social care, which has given me a solid foundation in behaviour, risk, and family systems.
How I Work
I focus on helping you understand what’s going on and giving you practical tools to change it.
We’ll look at what’s been keeping things going, and then work step-by-step to break those patterns. That might involve learning how to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, build confidence, or approach situations you’ve been avoiding.
If you’re neurodiverse, I adapt everything to suit how your brain works, not the other way around.
My aim is always to help you feel more in control, more confident, and able to handle things independently, long after therapy ends.
