How I can help

I am an accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Coach with over 30 years of experience across social work, mental health nursing and therapeutic practice. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and shaped by an understanding of how culture, identity and lived experience affect wellbeing. I support individuals and groups facing stress, long-term health conditions, discrimination and the impact of past or ongoing trauma. Drawing on both clinical training and practices such as breathwork and Smai Tawi yoga, I offer a thoughtful and steady space where you can make sense of what you’ve been carrying and begin to move forward in a way that feels more settled and aligned.

About me

I am an Accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Supervisor, and Coach, grounded in over three decades of therapeutic practice. My roots span social work, mental health nursing, and sacred traditions, including Egyptian Smai Tawi Yoga and breath work.

I craft culturally competent, trauma-informed care for individuals and groups navigating stress, lifelong illnesses, unexpected health challenges, discrimination, and the silent weight of abuse and personal and collective wounds. My practice honours intersectionality and racialized trauma, offering integrated pathways to resourcefulness, clarity, and wholeness.

Whether guiding a boardroom toward emotional intelligence, holding space for change in the community, or inviting the spirit to rest and rise—I meet people where they are, and help them return to themselves.
