How I can help

With over 25 years of experience as a counsellor and therapist I can help you improve your relationships, strengthen connections or work through difficult changes in your life. You don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I’m a bilingual counsellor (English and Spanish) supporting individuals, couples, and families across the US and UK. My approach is collaborative drawing on solution-focused and strengths-based therapy to help you move forward at your own pace. What makes my practice different: therapy doesn’t end when the session does. I offer personalised check-in emails, reflective exercises, and between-session support so that the work continues in your everyday life. If you’d like to talk, I offer an initial consultation to see if we’re a good fit. También hablo español.

About me

I’m a relationship therapist seeing couples working through conflict, life changes and challenging times. I understand, from personal experience, what it means to build a life across cultures and borders. That lived perspective sits alongside over 20 years of clinical training and practice, and I believe it makes me a more present and empathetic therapist.

I trained in New Mexico with a BA in Expressive Therapy and an MA in Community Counselling, before building my career as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, working across private practice and community mental health clinics with individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. In 2018, I relocated to the UK and became a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).

I offer therapy in both English and Spanish — because being truly heard means being heard in your own language.

My approach is collaborative and strengths-based. Using solution-focused therapy, I work with you to identify what’s already working, build on your resilience, and move towards meaningful change. I don’t just listen — I engage. Sessions are purposeful, and I often provide reflective exercises and personalised follow-up support between appointments, so the work continues beyond the consulting room.

I work with adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Whether you’re navigating something acute or carrying something you’ve held for a long time, I’ll meet you where you are.

I offer an initial consultation so we can explore whether we’re the right fit. I’d welcome hearing from you.

También ofrezco sesiones en español — no dude en ponerse en contacto.
