How I can help

I am a UKCP-registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist with over 30 years’ experience of working with people across a range of settings. My training is integrative and includes Transpersonal Counselling, Hypnotherapy, NLP, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Matrix Re-imprinting, meditation and energy-based approaches. This allows me to draw from different ways of working depending on what feels most helpful for each person. Alongside my formal training, my work has been shaped by a long-standing interest in the connection between emotional wellbeing, the body, and deeper inner processes. I continue to develop my practice through ongoing learning, personal therapy, and reflective practice.

About me

I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step. You might not be sure where to begin, or you may already have some awareness of what’s going on but still feel stuck.

People often come to me when they’ve been carrying things for a long time – sometimes quietly managing on the surface, while something underneath doesn’t feel settled.

My way of working is calm, thoughtful and respectful. I don’t believe in rushing the process or trying to “fix” things quickly. Instead, I aim to offer a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and begin to make sense of your experience in your own way.

I’m particularly interested in how patterns develop over time; especially those that once served a purpose but may no longer feel helpful. Together, we can explore these with curiosity rather than judgement.

Clients often tell me they feel more able to be themselves in our sessions, which can be an important starting point for change.
