About me

I am a chartered Counselling Psychologist. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology, followed by a Master’s in Psychotherapeutic Counselling at Cambridge University, where I graduated with distinction, before going on to complete a Doctorate in Psychology. My research in perinatal anxiety sparked a strong interest in women’s mental health.

I have undertaken further training in Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and advanced trauma work. I have also completed specialist training in understanding autism, ADHD coaching, and CBT for menopause.

I am a member of the British Menopause Society and the EMDR Association, and I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (PYL042175), the British Psychological Society (451217), and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I now work full time in private practice at Myndora Psychology. Prior to this, I worked in adult and perinatal mental health services within the NHS. My earlier work with children and adolescents deepened my understanding of attachment, parenting, and the impact of perinatal mood difficulties on the mother, her partner, the wider family, and the developing bond.

My approach is neuroaffirmative, and I am currently undertaking further training in ADHD coaching.

I have a strong interest in the impact of trauma and the lasting effects it can have, including fear, self-blame and shame.

Menopause and perimenopause are also areas of particular focus for me. I am committed to supporting women through this stage of life and have undertaken specialist training in menopause mental health and CBT for menopause, which informs my work as a menopause-informed psychologist.
