About me
As a MBACP registered counselling psychologist and psychotherapist and a certified fitness, health and wellbeing specialist, certified cross-cultural facilitator and researcher, working with peoples’ wellbeing has been the cornerstone of my 35-year career.
I take the biopsychosocial approach by marrying the mental and physical streams together while dealing with my clients. Blending evidence-based practices, behavioural and neuro sciences-based research, best fitness and wellbeing solutions, with ancient wisdom I customise them at the convergence that the client requires.
Using person centred, humanistic, existential, psychodynamic and CBT to name some therapies, I deal with each client and session with an eclectic / integrative / pluralistic psychotherapeutic approach.
I also bring in yoga, pranayama, meditation, mindfulness interwoven with spirituality, mind-body / somatic techniques and energy systems like reiki and tai chi / qi gong when required. Being a licensed and registered Bach Flower practitioner (BFRP) also adds to my repertoire of healing modalities.
