About me
Hi, I’m Nick, a gentle and kind, warm and friendly & experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I trained at Kings College London, in the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IOPPN), graduating in 2018.
I hold BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy) accreditation, which is the gold standard and demonstrates a high standard of clinical expertise.
I am passionate about Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) as well as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and have seen how these approaches have the potential to bring about positive changes for people.
My work is interesting and I like to support people on a variety of issues around anxiety and depression. My particular interests/specialisations are around helping people with trauma / PTSD, as well as people with high anxiety over health concerns.
Furthermore I am especially skilled in helping people experiencing depression and low self esteem.
I’ve successfully treated hundreds of people using NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) approved methods, so what you are going through is not uncommon – one in 4 people experience anxiety/depression – so you are not alone.
We would work together collaboratively so you feel less alone to jointly try and reduce your suffering, and move you more towards where you want to be.
