How I can help
I’m Rebecca, an integrative therapist and coach who works with clients navigating confidence, identity, relationships, work stress, and emotional patterns that can feel hard to shift alone. I bring a calm, grounded presence to our work, and hold space for the parts of you that feel unseen, stuck, or uncertain while also gently supporting change. Before retraining in psychological therapies, I worked in high-pressure environments: first in banking, and later as a British diplomat. That experience deeply informs how I understand anxiety, burnout, performance pressure and identity struggles, especially for those in roles of responsibility. But our work doesn’t just stay in the world of achievement, it also explores attachment, emotion, family history, and the early relational experiences that shape how we move through the world. I’ve supported hundreds of clients internationally, across therapy, coaching, and EMDR. My approach is warm, attuned and thoughtful but also active, collaborative and grounded in evidence. I work well with people who are self-aware but feel stuck; who want to understand themselves more deeply and feel more like themselves in both their inner and outer worlds.

About me
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on different evidence-based methods depending on what you’re bringing into the space and what feels most supportive for you. I often combine psychodynamic and relational therapy with elements of EMDR, parts work, cognitive approaches, and nervous system awareness. I also bring in psychoeducation when helpful, offering ways to understand what you’re experiencing, and how it connects to earlier life patterns or to your nervous system’s response to stress, safety, or shame.
Therapy with me is collaborative, non-judgemental, and paced to suit you. It’s a space where we can think together about what’s going on: emotionally, relationally, historically, and begin to notice what you’ve internalised, what you might be holding onto, and what may be ready to change. Some sessions might involve processing difficult experiences or learning to sit with big feelings; others may focus on understanding protective strategies like people-pleasing, perfectionism or avoidance, and how to move towards something different with compassion.
I often work with people who feel competent on the outside but overwhelmed on the inside who are handling anxiety, burnout, identity shifts, low self-worth, or a sense of disconnection. Whether we’re working on a specific issue or exploring longer-term patterns, I aim to help you feel more resourced, more aware, and more in touch with your needs and values.
