About me
I became a psychotherapist because of my own life experiences and what I found through therapy — how transformative it can be to have a safe relationship in which to explore difficult truths. My work is grounded in Mindfulness-based Core Process Psychotherapy, which I trained in at the Karuna Institute in Devon. I work both psychodynamically and intuitively, believing that healing occurs not through technique alone, but through the quality of the relationship we build together. I focus on accessing the inherent health and wisdom in each person, rather than pathologising difficulty. I have worked in the NHS Counselling Service and have extensive experience with developmental trauma, emotional neglect, and the lasting effects of early unsafe experiences. I offer a free first session and work on a sliding scale from £40.
