How I can help
I am a BACP-accredited counsellor working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship issues. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on humanistic and psychodynamic approaches to help you identify patterns of behaviour, thoughts and feelings. This can help you understand the link between the past and the present and gives you the freedom to make choices in your life which really benefit you. My trauma-informed approach helps you make sense of your nervous system, understand why you react the way you do and build skills to regulate your emotions before they hijack you.

About me
I am a BACP-accredited counsellor and adhere to the organisation’s ethical framework. I have been working in private practice for over 10 years and have also worked in the charity sector and the NHS. Before training as a counsellor, I worked in publishing and education.
By offering a safe, honest and non-judgemental environment, I aim to help you discover your own inner resources and strengths so that you can experience positive change in your life. I believe that the relationship between the counsellor and the person they support is crucial to successful therapy. With this in mind, the initial assessment is an opportunity for you to decide whether you would like to work through your issues with me, and for me to get to know you a little. Please feel free to give me a call or email me to discuss your needs and ask any questions you may have.
