How I can help
I can help you understand how past and present experiences may be shaping your relationships, emotions and ways of coping. Working psychodynamically, we will explore the patterns that sit beneath difficulties in communication, conflict, identity, belonging or emotional distress, helping you develop greater self-awareness and the possibility of meaningful change. About me
My work is grounded in psychodynamic therapy and focuses on understanding how past and present experiences, including unconscious processes, shape relationships, emotions, and ways of coping. Sessions are guided by what feels most important to you, supporting greater self-awareness and meaningful change.
I offer psychodynamic therapy to individuals and couples, supporting clients in navigating the complexities of their relationships. Together, we explore the underlying patterns that influence emotions, behaviours, and communication, with attention to unresolved conflicts and earlier experiences that may continue to have an impact.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community and those from diverse cultural and racial identities, and aim to provide an inclusive space to explore questions of identity and belonging.
I offer weekly face-to-face and online counselling.
What to expect:
Initial consultation: This is a two-way process. The first session will partly be an assessment of concerns and requirements and an exploration of what brings you to therapy now. The initial appointment will allow us to explore key events and relevant history and see how we may best work together. To arrange the first appointment, payment is required in advance.
Engaging in therapy: If we agree to continue beyond the initial consultation, we will set up weekly ongoing appointments on either an open-ended or time-limited basis. Alternatively, in some cases where appropriate and agreed between us, I can offer a referral.
