About me

I began my career in psychology in London nearly three decades ago as a consultant occupational psychologist working alongside HR professionals to assist them in their assessment and development of employees to enhance the performance of individuals and as a consequence, organisations. The part of the work I enjoyed the most was understanding individuals at depth and working with them to overcome their personal and unique challenges to find greater satisfaction in their lives.
This interest led me first to qualify as an executive coach and then over many years to train as a psychodynamic psychotherapist at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (formerly WPF Therapy) and the University of Roehampton. I was keen to have the skills and knowledge to assist individuals at a deep emotional level when issues in the workplace triggered older patterns and wounds in my coaching clients. Since becoming a psychotherapist I have maintained my interest and work in workplace mental health in addition to learning about trauma-informed therapy and working with individuals in distress. As an executive coach and therapist, I believe I offer a unique combination of skills and experience which I can pivot according to my client’s needs. I bring both an understanding of the practical constraints of those navigating organisational complexity with the ability to work at depth with the emotional lives of individuals.
I work online and in person currently in three locations; Golders Green, Kings Cross and the City of London and welcome enquiries from adults.
My special interests are relational difficulties, trauma and career development and fulfilment in the workplace.
