How I can help
I work with adults (18+) struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, or loss. These are very broad terms; your reason for seeking help is usually a very personal instance of these, specific to you and your lived experience. You may for example feel low self-worth, shame, insecurity, disconnection… or just something unique to you. I believe therapy is a place of safety and connection where you, the client, know that you are received and witnessed unconditionally. I provide a regulated and containing presence for thoughts and feelings, attending to your day-to-day struggles, and the deeper work of understanding and processing their origins. You may play a role in your difficulties, and I help expand your awareness of this. I am a relatively active therapist; I may offer responses or challenges, always recognising the primacy of your subjectivity and lived experience. My approach is integrative and broadly psychodynamic, informed by attachment theory and relational psychotherapy.

About me
I offer face-to-face sessions from my practice in Archway, a calm and private consulting room next to Dartmouth Park in London N19.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I trained at CPPD London and Regent’s University, and have a BSc from the LSE. I previously worked as a counsellor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and at Face2Face London.
I have professional supervision, full insurance, DBS, and ICO registration. I practice privately as an in-person therapist in North London.
Please contact me for my current availability or with any questions about starting therapy. You can also directly book an initial consultation or free call, via my website https://northlondontherapist.co.uk/
I offer weekly in-person therapy. We may later agree on fortnightly or twice-weekly sessions, or to do some online or by phone, depending on what works best for you.
