About me

I’m an experienced therapist who helps individuals and couples through difficult times or when they just need a supportive space to talk about what’s on their minds. I want to help you better understand yourself and empower you to make the changes you want to see in your life or in your relationship. Together we’ll work through your fears and frustrations, helping you to find clarity and a way forward.

I help people with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and to turn down the volume on that critical inner voice that tells them they’re getting it wrong. I help couples to communicate better and how to better understand themselves and each other. I provide a warm therapeutic space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely. My job is to help you through fear and emotional discomfort to find a place where you feel safer, more contented and more empowered.

In my other career as a journalist, I have met people from all walks of life and learned how to listen closely and with compassion to find out what the meaning might be behind the words someone is saying. This has proven an invaluable life skill that now enables me to help clients understand why they might be feeling upset or behaving in ways that trouble them.
