I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and MBT therapist who works both in the NHS and in private practice. In the NHS I work as a senior clinician in both a complex emotional needs pathway and within a perinatal mental health team. In my private practice I offer individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy to adults from once a week or more frequently, both online and in person. I currently only have vacancies for in person therapy. I also offer parent infant work, which supports people in their transition to parenthood, either pre or post childbirth. After birth this involves working with parents and babies together until the children are two years of age. In conjunction with experienced colleagues, I offer a private Mentalisation Based Therapy programme. This involves weekly individual sessions alongside a weekly online therapy group. This is suitable for people struggling with complex interpersonal difficulties and difficulties regulating their emotions, potentially including impulsivity, anger, self-harm and suicidality. I have a particular interest in supporting people within the LGBTQ+ community. I am also interested in the way that societal pressures and systemic power structures influence our experience of ourselves and our mental health. Issues of inequality, racism, misogyny, homophobia and transphobia continue to shape the world in which we live. I aim to offer an inclusive space to everyone I work with, to enable them to make sense of how these influences might impact their individual emotional lives.

I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where clients can explore present challenges and understand themselves more clearly. My work is client-led and integrative, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to suit each person’s needs, sometimes including breathing, meditation and visualisation to support the mind–body connection. I have particular experience working with childhood and adolescent trauma, the psychological impact of physical health conditions, psychosexual difficulties, perinatal mental health, and relationship issues, including couples work. My aim is to offer a thoughtful therapeutic relationship that supports deeper understanding and meaningful, lasting change.

I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve never spoken to a counsellor before. My aim is to offer a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly at your own pace. I work with people experiencing a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, low mood, grief and loss, relationship issues, stress, self-esteem, identity, life changes and feeling emotionally stuck or overwhelmed. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes people simply want to better understand themselves or make sense of what they are feeling. As an experienced therapist, I believe the relationship between counsellor and client matters deeply. Feeling safe, heard and understood is an important part of the process. I work in a warm, honest and collaborative way, adapting sessions to your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I offer online video and telephone sessions, giving you flexibility and the comfort of accessing support from your own space. If you are unsure whether therapy is right for you, I also offer a free 15-minute introductory call. This gives you the chance to ask questions, get a sense of how I work and decide whether I feel like the right fit for you.

As a Therapist I am acutely aware of the importance of working with a counsellor who can support your therapeutic journey. Sometimes, we all face challenges in life that leave us feeling stuck and unable to see a way out. In therapy, I’ll provide you with a safe and supportive space to talk things through. Together, we’ll focus on the present, deepen your self-understanding, and discover new ways to move forward. I offer individual online sessions

I am an integrative counsellor and a member of the BACP, with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and experience working within the NHS offering solution-focused therapy. My approach is shaped by both professional training and personal experience, and is based on the belief that people can reach a greater sense of peace and fulfilment through deeper self-understanding. I offer a supportive, reflective space where clients can explore themselves honestly, even when the process feels uncomfortable, and begin to make changes that feel more in line with the life they want to live.

Jackie Becker

BACP and UKCP registered psychodynamic psychotherapist and qualified clinical supervisor based in Bushey, Hertfordshire. Her psychodynamic training provides a deep, theoretically grounded framework for understanding how past experiences, unconscious processes, and relational patterns shape presenting difficulties. Jackie works with adults on a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, and in addition to her clinical practice offers clinical supervision to other therapists and counsellors. Her dual BACP and UKCP registration reflects the breadth and rigour of her professional formation.

Monika Bakonyi

MBACP Accredited humanistic psychotherapist and counsellor based in Fulham and Putney, South West London, with fees starting from £70 per session. She is a specialist in narcissistic abuse recovery — an area of growing clinical need in which relatively few practitioners have dedicated expertise. Monika has a sophisticated understanding of the patterns, psychological impacts, and recovery trajectory for people who have experienced relationships with narcissistic or personality-disordered individuals. Her humanistic foundation provides a warm, affirming base from which clients can rebuild self-worth.

I provide counselling and psychotherapy for children and young people in a safe and supportive environment where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, and life challenges. Whether it’s anxiety, stress, low mood, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, bullying, or issues with relationships and identity, therapy can help young people work through a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological concerns. My approach is tailored for young people who need low-level intervention to better understand themselves, manage their emotions, and learn self-regulation. I work with those who want to explore their sense of self, helping young people express their emotions and thoughts in a safe, healthy environment. My therapeutic approach is integrative, meaning I adapt each session to suit the unique needs of the individual. I draw from various therapeutic modalities, including child-centred and psychodynamic approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Attachment Theory, all with a strong focus on the young persons well being.
