I work relationally using a Transactional Analysis framework, informed by trauma aware, attachment based, somatic, and CBT influenced approaches. Elena Miari

I am a BACP accredited psychotherapist and couples therapist, qualified since 2008 and working in full time private practice. My work is grounded in existential and humanistic psychotherapy and focuses primarily on relationships and relational dynamics. I specialise in couples therapy, particularly working with neurodiverse and mixed neurotype relationships where ADHD or other neurodivergent traits influence communication, emotional regulation and patterns of connection. I also work extensively with couples navigating infidelity, supporting partners to understand what has happened, rebuild trust where possible and decide how they want to move forward. Alongside couples work, I support individuals navigating complex relationship dynamics, including betrayal trauma, recovery from narcissistic abuse and the impact of ADHD on identity, relationships and emotional wellbeing. In 2024 I founded Heathwell Therapies, a psychotherapy clinic in Blackheath bringing together experienced therapists with different specialisms to offer t high quality therapeutic support. I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), a member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), and a member of the World Federation for ADHD (WFADHD).

Georgie Gee

I have a wealth of knowledge about child and adolescent development as well as over 18 years of experience of working with young people (up to the age of 25) and their families. Areas that I work with cover the normal struggles of adolescent development including, gender, identity and independence. As well as school refusal, self-harm and the impact of divorce/separation and grief on the family dynamics. No problem is too small or to inconsequential to be thought about. I aim to provide a safe and confidential provision that allows one to feel listened to and experience validation. I also think about the unconscious patterns of relating that get acted out whether that be with the child or young person or within the wider family that can impact how young people relate to each other and or their family members and peer group. I am also able to work with parents in a non judgemental way to help you support your adolescent to grow, develop and repair family disharmony. I also have experience with care experienced and young people at boarding schools. It all begins with a open conversation.

Anna Orzech

Anna supports individual and couple clients with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, low mood, anger, grief and loss, life transitions, identity, cross-cultural experiences, personal agency, communication, creativity, and relationship difficulties. In addition, she works with people who may be content in their lives but are interested in better understanding themselves and their existential situation.
In terms of couple and relationship therapy, as well as traditional “couples” therapy for romantic/intimate partners (this includes monogamous and non-monogamous structures), relationship therapy is suitable for friends, adult family members, colleagues and creative partnerships. Therapy creates a contained space without shame or blame for both people to speak and be heard, and to establish what’s really going on in the shared dynamic.
Anna welcomes adults of all backgrounds to get in touch and discuss further: please visit www.annaorzech.com for more information. Fee structure varies for individuals and couples; please reach out to find out more.

Tom Lewis

I work with people facing challenges such as anxiety, burnout, and life changes. I also have a particular interest in supporting addiction and recovery, and men’s mental health—areas where opening up can often feel especially difficult. Alongside my private practice, I facilitate support groups for a domestic violence charity and work with people from a wide range of backgrounds. I work in an integrative way, adapting how I work depending on what you need. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s going on for you and explore ways forward that feel right. My practice is based in a bright, welcoming space in Spitalfields (E1), close to Liverpool Street, Aldgate East, and Shoreditch High Street.

Emma Malone

I work integratively – tailoring sessions to what best serves your individual needs. My core training is rooted in Psychodynamic Therapy — which means I’m interested in your unconscious processes and beliefs, with a focus on the past, and often early experiences. The idea is that these have shaped how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others today – and this understanding helps us to work through difficult emotions, unresolved conflicts, and patterns of behaviour that may be holding you back. At the same time, I draw on more behavioural based ways of working such as CBT where we will take a more active look at the link between your thoughts/beliefs – feelings/emotions and the resulting problematic behaviours. We might think about cognitive restructuring (catching and examining automatic anxious thoughts), behavioural experiments, or worry exposure (often used for OCD). I believe a combination of these approaches, and the flexibility to use both modalities, is the most effective in relieving suffering and helping to create a life with greater emotional well-being, resilience, healthier relationships and a more secure sense of self.

Dr Claire Tobin

Many of the difficulties we experience in adulthood can be shaped by early relationships and experiences. I am a Senior Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience helping people understand and work through the impact of difficult early life experiences and unmet emotional needs. I offer a thoughtful, collaborative space at my consulting rooms in SE5 where we can explore how earlier experiences may be influencing current difficulties, and identify ways forward that feel meaningful and manageable. Areas I work with include childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, complex trauma, anxiety and depression. I accept WPA health insurance customers.

James Crossland

My work includes supporting clients with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, addiction and problematic behaviours, burnout, and major life transitions.
